The job these tools are for
You have company names. You want an email when one of them posts a role you would take. That is career page monitoring, also called job monitoring. It is not “find me a job,” and it is not “tell me when any pixel on this website moves.”
The tools below split into two families. JobBeacon, OpenJobRadar, Scoutify, and JobNotify try to read job listings. Visualping, ChangeTower, Wachete, and UptimeRobot notice that a page changed, and you hope the change was a job. Scoutify also submits applications. Both families can watch a careers URL. They do not fail in the same way.
Public pages retrieved 26 Oct 2026, not a lab test where we ran every product on the same ten employers. A price that did not render in the page we fetched is left out. Verify it before you pay.

visualping.io/pricing on 26 Oct 2026 says it is free to start. Personal prices did not render (the page was still loading). An enterprise line said from $3,000 a year. Job hunting is listed as a personal use.
Wachete
Any web page, or the part you select, including a page that needs a login. Catching a new job is a listed use, not a job parser.
Higher. A changed page is not the same as a new role.

The homepage says it checks around the clock. It did not publish an interval table.

Nothing wins every column. JobBeacon’s free plan is five companies, checked at least daily. Scoutify’s alerts plan is a weekly fee for a large careers-page set, and its other plans apply for you. OpenJobRadar’s pricing page did not return plan text on 26 Oct 2026. Visualping, ChangeTower, Wachete, and UptimeRobot will watch a weird URL the job tools might shrug at, and they will also shrug at what counts as a job. JobNotify’s case is filters and the faster paid checks, not the widest free list. Our numbers: pricing.
Who each one is for
ChangeTower. One awkward page, a change email, little interest in job fields. You will tune it. That is the product.
JobBeacon. A short list, up to five companies free, with keyword and location filters per company. Pro removes that cap and checks at least every 30 minutes. The Pro dollar amount was not in the pricing HTML on 26 Oct 2026. JobNotify and JobBeacon side by side.
JobNotify. A mixed list, title and exclude words, and a faster check on Super (every hour on standard pages). The free tier is tighter than an unlimited free tool. Protected job boards, the ones that need a browser, are a small separate cap: none on free and Starter, 1 on Pro, 5 on Super, checked daily. Custom filter requests, where you describe a rule we do not already offer, are Super-only.
OpenJobRadar. Their pricing page did not return plan text on 26 Oct 2026. The last copy we could read, on 2 Sep 2026, said the product was free with no company cap. Head-to-head: JobNotify and OpenJobRadar. If you need the fastest paid cadence, this is not the row.
Scoutify. You want a large set of career pages and, on the paid apply plans, someone to submit the application. Alerts alone were $5 a week on 26 Oct 2026. That is a different product from a shortlist you curate.
UptimeRobot. A free uptime check. The job-alert URL we used to cite returned 404 on 26 Oct 2026. Do not expect the homepage product to know a job from a banner.

Wachete. A page, or a piece of a page, with an email or a phone alert, including a careers page that needs a login. Free to start on 26 Oct 2026. It tells you the page changed. It does not tell you the change was a job you want.
What none of them are
None of these replace the company’s apply button. The email should point at their page. If a product starts to feel like another job board, you have wandered off the original chore. First 2 Apply (first2apply.com, retrieved 26 Oct 2026) is a different kind of tool: a desktop app that watches job boards such as LinkedIn, Indeed and Dice, rather than one company’s careers page.
And if the company already emails you at a pace you trust, you do not need a row in this table for them. Use theirs. Spend the tool on the names with no button. Several names at once: tracking multiple company career pages.

Are page-change monitors the same as job alerts?
No. A page-change monitor emails you when a URL looks different. A company job alert should email you when a new matching role is posted. Banners and reorders trigger the first and should not trigger the second.
Do I need a monitoring tool if the company has job alerts?
No. Use the company’s own email when it exists and the pace works. These tools are for careers pages that do not offer that, or for a filter the built-in alert cannot do.
