Questions, answered
How is this different from LinkedIn or Indeed alerts?
Those alerts only cover roles companies choose to post to that platform, and they often arrive late and mixed with noise. JobNotify watches a company's own careers page directly, so you see roles the job boards miss or are slow to list — filtered to exactly what you're looking for.
Which careers page platforms work?
JobNotify reads the major hiring systems companies use — including Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Oracle, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, Workable, Recruitee, Personio, Teamtailor, BambooHR and BreezyHR — as well as custom, in-house careers pages. If a company lists its jobs on a public page, we can almost always watch it.
How fast are the alerts?
On Super we check standard company pages every 15 minutes; Pro every 30 minutes; Starter every 8 hours; Free every 24 hours. Protected job boards are re-checked every hour on Super, every 4 hours on Pro, and every 8 hours on Starter. When a new matching role appears, the email goes out within minutes of the next check.
What counts as a new role?
No. When you start watching a careers page, jobs that are already open are shown as a preview so you can apply if you want — we don’t email you about them. Alerts only cover matching roles that appear after you started watching. Editing a filter works the same way: new keywords only apply to roles that appear after you save; we won’t re-alert on jobs that were already open.
Can I watch any company?
Any company with a public careers or jobs page. You paste the link, we confirm we can read it, and you're watching. There's no fixed list — if you can open the page in a browser, you can usually monitor it.
What are protected job boards?
Protected job boards are careers pages that need a browser render to read (for example LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, and similar). Free includes 0. Paid plans allow 10 on Starter, 25 on Pro, and 100 on Super, plus unlimited standard company pages.
Can I pause or cancel?
Yes. You keep access until the end of your billing period, then drop to the lower plan. Any companies over the new limit are archived — kept safe and reactivatable, never deleted. You can also pause emails on a filter without cancelling.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Free includes 1 filter with 1 job title keyword and up to 3 company pages, checked every 24 hours, no credit card required. Upgrade only if you want multiple job titles, more filters or standard company pages, protected job boards, or faster checks.
