Does Lever have job alerts? The direct answer

Lever is an applicant tracking system (ATS): software companies use to post openings, collect applications, and manage a hiring pipeline. Visit a Lever-hosted careers page and you’ll typically find a searchable list of open roles with an “Apply” button. What you won’t find is a box where you enter your email and get pinged when a matching role goes live. Some companies bolt a newsletter or talent-community signup onto their own site around the Lever board — worth checking first, since it’s free — but that’s a company-specific choice, not a Lever platform feature.

The recruiter vs. candidate confusion

Search “Lever job alerts” and you’ll hit references to “Following” and email notifications inside Lever — easy to assume those are for candidates. They’re not.

Lever’s “Following” and notification tools live on the hiring team side. They let recruiters and hiring managers:

1. Check the company’s own site for a talent-community or newsletter signup — free when it exists, hit-or-miss by company.
2. See whether the company cross-posts to LinkedIn or Indeed, where you can save a company-specific search (usually after the role is already live on Lever).
